How to Create a Backup Company File in QuickBooks Desktop
Here are the steps:
- Go to File, scroll down to Back Up Company and choose Create Local Backup.
  
 
 
- Choose the Local backup radio button, then click Next.
  
 
 
- Choose Save it now and click Next.
  
 
 
- Choose the location where to save the backup file and enter the file name. Click Save.
  
 
 
- You'll get a confirmation message once the backup is complete. Click OK.
  
 
 
- Send your backup file to Accountable Numbers
